The Historic San Judas Tadeo Chapel is found in the beautiful district of Los Árboles in the department of Tunuyán.
It is an intimate and beautiful building over a hundred years old. It was built using local stones and it is surrounded by pine trees, walnuts and chestnut trees.
Inside the chapel, you can find a large number of religious images and icons displayed for worship. It calls the visitors’ attention a large size broken Christ which is found behind the main entrance door.
Picturesque details of this chapel are the wooden benches covered with bovine leather, which were made by the local inhabitants, as well as the great wooden rosary that hangs from the outside wall of the chapel.
It is possible to attend the celebration of the mass every third Sunday of each month, at 5 pm
